The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced England’s cricket team’s playing eleven for the third game of the 5-match T20I series against the India cricket team. Over the last few years, England have made it customary to name their side a day or two before the match. They’ve done so again on the eve of the IND vs ENG 3rd T20I.
No changes for England
Jofra Archer, who was rested for the first game, will continue to play as England look to take a 2-0 lead in the series at Edgbaston. Archer didn’t play the first Test match of the summer against New Zealand for workload management reasons. However, the shorter formats are easier on the body, as he won’t bowl more than 4 overs in the game.
James Coles, who earned his maiden England call-up, won’t make his debut on July 7. The all-rounder wasn’t picked in the first two games. In the last match, Saqib Mahmood and Luke Wood went out for Josh Tongue, who made his T20I debut, and Archer. England will continue with the same team.
