Jofra Archer was seen napping during England’s batting collapse in the 3rd ODI, prompting hilarious reactions from fans and commentators.

During the third and final IND vs ENG ODI at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, England’s fast bowler Jofra Archer was seen taking a nap in the dugout in between his team’s batting struggles. A video of this moment was shared on social media, and commentator Ravi Shastri humorously remarked, “Nice time for a nap.” Despite playing in several matches, Archer did not perform as expected on this tour, taking only seven wickets.

Netizens react to Jofra Archer’s Nap

Meanwhile, netizens reacted to Jofra Archer getting a nap during a tough situation for England in the match. Many took it lightly with making some mems and giving amazing captions to his photo.

India’s dominant match and series win

India wrapped up the ODI series with a 142-run victory, securing a 3-0 sweep. Shubman Gill’s century, along with half-centuries from Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli, powered India to an impressive total of 356 runs. Despite a strong start by openers Ben Duckett and Phil Salt, England’s batters faltered as the innings progressed, with the team getting bundled up in just 34.2 overs.

England looks ahead at Champions Trophy

Out of eight limited-overs matches on this tour, England managed only one win. As they head into the Champions Trophy, Jos Buttler and his team carry little winning momentum. Their first match will be against Australia on February 22 in Lahore, where they hope to start afresh and improve their performance.
