As per TOI, Nepal head coach Mrugang Desai reveals that the side wanted to play quality cricket and face the best of cricketers before the T20 World Cup. He also says that it will be a win-win situation for both Nepal and the state teams as they face off against each other in the seven-day T20 tournament.

We have a very good national team that has the potential to beat the best. But ahead of the World Cup, we wanted to play quality cricket and face the best of the batsmen, bowlers and fielders,” Desai said.
