India and Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Virat Kohli’s influence goes far beyond the cricketing field. Being a senior cricketer, Kohli has the responsibility of guiding his juniors and colleagues. Mohammed Siraj, who is a regular starter for RCB and the Indian team, opened up on Kohli’s influence on him and explained how he gains confidence from Kohli’s guidance.
Although RCB is not performing up to the mark in IPL 2024, Kohli has been in swashbuckling form. The batter has scored 542 runs in 11 matches and is leading the list for Orange Cap. However, it is not only his batting that has been impressive.
Siraj, who has taken 8 wickets in 10 matches in IPL 2024 so far, opened up on how Kohli motivates him just by guiding him and providing importance to anything he has to say.

“Virat bhai is a legend. He knows me from the last 8 years. He backs my decision and he supports me. When a legend like him backs you and communicates with you, listens to you, it gives a lot of confidence and motivation,” Mohammad Siraj said.
Although motivation is a big factor behind teams and individuals doing well, it looks like it won’t be enough for RCB to qualify for the playoffs on IPL 2024.
