The 2025 men’s draft for The Hundred saw surprises all around, with major signings and some unexpected omissions. England’s legendary bowler James Anderson and Jason Roy remained unsold. Speaking of the picks, London Spirit made the first move, securing England all-rounder Jamie Overton for £200,000, while Manchester Originals focused on strengthening their spin attack by selecting Afghanistan spinner Noor Ahmad and New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra. Trent Rockets added England all-rounder David Willey and Kiwi pacer Lockie Ferguson, whereas Southern Brave signed New Zealand’s Michael Bracewell and former Australian opener David Warner, who retired from international cricket last year.
The draft followed a reverse order of the 2024 standings, with teams retaining up to 10 players, including one centrally contracted England player and up to three overseas players. Salary bands ranged from £200,000 to £31,000. Now that everything is set, the tournament is scheduled to start on August 5, 2025, and will run until August 31. Take a look at the Men’s Hundred 2025 squads.
