Established in 2021, this prestigious annual award is presented to player who excelled in T20I cricket throughout the year. The nominees are shortlisted by a panel that includes cricket journalists and broadcasters from around the world, along with Geoff Allardice, the ICC’s CEO. Voters select their top three choices, with the ICC also considering fan votes through its digital channels. The combined results from the Voting Academy and fan votes determine the winner.
