WICKET 1: It was in the 4th over when David Willey struck first. With Venkat Iyer already struggling, he let the seam talk. He bowled a brilliant short-of-the-length delivery just outside off. Venkatesh Iyer tried to punch it on the backfoot but with the swing, the ball cut back inside sharply. As a result, it shattered his stumps.
WICKET 2: Willey made it two in two with a good length delivery but a slower one. Mandeep Singh tried to defend the ball but it went through the gate and cleaned up his stumps.
While Shardul Thakur, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rinku Singh plundered RCB bowling attack, Willey was the most economical and effective with the new ball. He returned with brilliant figures of 4/16 in his four overs.
