Umpire Jayaraman Madanagopal had a rough start to the second innings as he got a couple of decisions wrong in the 1st over of KKR’s run chase. Ajinkya Rahane, who took strike for the first over, was given out first ball, but replays suggested that the ball had hit his pad and not the bat.
Second ball, Mustafizur Rahman got Rahane on the pads, and Madanagopal again judged him to be out. The KKR star was baffled and instantly reviewed the decision, with replays showing a clear inside edge.
The third delivery, Rahane slashed at a wide ball and replays showed that the KKR star had caught an outside edge but none of the DC players appealed for a wicket.
