England are placed second in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Group C with two wins and one defeat.

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has reached its halfway mark, and the West Indies have become the first team to qualify for the Super Eights, following their win over Nepal on February 15. Other teams still have to confirm their future in the tournament.

Day out in Mumbai

On Sunday, February 15, a video went viral where England’s star players, Jofra Archer and Liam Dawson, were spotted relaxing at Mumbai’s Marine Drive. The duo was spotted sitting at the iconic promenade without any security personnel. While the sight caught the attention of the fans, several fans also took to social media to drop mixed reactions. It is to be noted that the Marine Drive is one of the iconic spots in Mumbai and is often called the ‘Queen’s Necklace’ due to its structure.

England yet to qualify for Super 8

The Three Lions are placed in Group C in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 alongside the West Indies, Scotland (who replaced Bangladesh), Italy, and Nepal. The group is well placed at this moment, with the West Indies already progressing further into the Super Eights, whereas Nepal has been eliminated with a match to go.

England have moved to second place following their five-wicket win over Scotland at the iconic Eden Gardens on February 15. In the match, a combined effort by Adil Rashid, Archer, and Dawson helped England bundle out Scotland for a below-par score of 152/10 in 19.4 overs. The Harry Brook-led side is next scheduled to play Italy in their final group stage match on February 16.
