Michael Bracewell will lead the New Zealand cricket team in the five-match T20I series against Pakistan. Seven players who participated in the Champions Trophy have been included in the side for the series that will commence from March 16. The Kiwis, led by Mitchell Santner, suffered yet another heartbreak as they were handed a 4-wicket defeat by India on Sunday in the CT 2025 final.
Santner, Rachin prefer IPL 2025 over Pakistan series
Santner and opener Rachin Ravindra have been excluded from the squad for NZ vs PAK T20Is. Incidentally, both of them are also a part of MI and CSK in IPL 2025, which overlaps with the T20I series against Pakistan at home. Devon Conway, who is with CSK, has also been left out. The cash-rich league will commence from March 22. Bracewell will lead the team in Santner’s absence.
