It is just mighty tough to come to terms with the fact the MS Dhoni is not the CSK skipper anymore. No matter how deserving the new captain Ruturaj Gaikwad is, Dhoni has just become synonymous to Chennai captain, no matter what. It seems as if the players are coming to terms with that. During their first match against RCB a couple of days back, a small incident happened on the field, that shows, that MSD is still in mind’s as the skipper.
During the first innings, it seemed like Deepak Chahar wanted to go up for a review, and straightway went to Dhoni with the request. But the latter was quick to point out that it was Gaikwad who was leading the side, and not him.

As for Chennai, Rachin Ravindra got the team of to a flier scoring 37 from just 15 deliveries. Shivam Dube and Ravindra Jadeja completed the formalities soon after.
