Ex-KKR Team Director shuts down MS Dhoni critic after wild conspiracy theory

Ex-KKR Team Director shuts down MS Dhoni critic after wild conspiracy theory

Dhoni has produced some cameos in IPL 2024 and has an incredible strike rate of 224.49.

Devon Conway isn’t really injured? The Chennai Super Kings are forcing the Kiwi wicketkeeper batter to say that he has an issue? That’s what a fan has alleged online. What is the reason behind doing so? Apparently, it is to accommodate MS Dhoni.

Devon Conway injured faked to accommodate MS Dhoni?

Dhoni has already played 11 matches in the IPL 2024, and that too with a muscle tear in his leg. The logic behind doing so isn’t to bid adieu to his fans across India or try and leave cricket with a bang, but because it’s because he’s selfish, according to the wild conspiracy by the fan.

The former Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team director, Joy Bhattacharjya, has bashed the critic for peddling conspiracy theories about MS Dhoni. He asked the fan if he had some insider information that would prove that there was any evidence to back it.

What prompted the wild MS Dhoni theory?

Bhattacharjya had taken to X (formerly Twitter) to give two cents on why Dhoni was still playing despite not being fit. He wrote:

“Here’s my Dhoni theory. He’s playing on with his muscle tear for his two most important constituencies, his fans and his team. The part about saying goodbye to his fans around the country is obvious. What we might be missing is why he chooses to play on for the team. Conway is injured, which means the only other keeper in their squad is young Aravelly Avanish, certainly quite a way off from first XI duties. Dhoni also probably wants to give just enough support to Ruturaj to make sure that the transition is smooth this time around. Next year is the big auction, and if he sees them through this year, they will go in with a lot of cash and a young core.”
