IPL 2022: SWEET REVENGE! Kuldeep Yadav HAUNTS former side KKR, picks another 4-wicket haul as Shreyas Iyer and co crumble -Watch Highlights
After Chetan Sakariya and Axar Patel rocked KKR’s start, Kuldeep Yadav ensured that his former team were buried down in the dumps with a fine spell of bowling at the Wankhede Stadium on Thursday. In his first over, Kuldeep sent back debutant Baba Indrajith before trapping Sunil Narine first ball to see KKR collapse to 35/4.
He then once again came to his side’s rescue, breaking a budding partnership between Shreyas Iyer and Nitish Rana, by dismissing the KKR skipper, as Rishabh Pant took a stunning low catch. He followed it up with a beautiful delivery to fox Andre Russell, who completely played down the wrong line giving Pant an easy stumping behind the stumps.
Kuldeep surprisingly did not bowl his full quota of overs, finishing with figures of 4/14 in his three overs, with Pant opting to bowl an over of Lalit Yadav to the two left-handers.
