Earlier this month, the franchise roped in Cars24 as the front jersey sponsor. Cars24, for whom Dhoni is the investor as well as the brand ambassador, has made an entry with Sunrisers as the earlier title sponsor JK Lakshmi decided to part ways with the team.
In terms of the coaching staff, Tom Moody has been appointed yet again as the head coach and Muttiah Muralitharan remains as the Spin-Bowling coach. While Brian Lara has been appointed as the batting coach, Dale Steyn as fast bowling coach & Simon Katich as the assistant coach and Hemang Badani as the fielding coach and scout ahead of the new season.
- SRH have retained Kane Williamson for 12 crores while two youngsters from Jammu and Kashmir
- All-rounder Abdul Samad and fast bowling sensation from last season and 150K pace sensation from J&K Umran Malik has been retained ahead of the auction
- SRH have a purse of Rs 68 crore which can be utilised at the auction
