Delhi Capitals looked in a spot of bother when Lucknow Super Giants sent back their openers Prithvi Shaw and David Warner cheaply in the first couple of overs. Rishabh Pant joined Mitchell Marsh with the score reading 13/2 in 3 overs and the duo put on an onslaught to wrestle back the advantage.
The Delhi Capitals captain took the attack to Krunal Pandya and made the most of a reprieve to turn the tide in the powerplay. Marsh soon joined as DC took 36 in the first overs of the nre partnership.
Pant then continued to go beserk with their 50 partnership coming in 16 deliveries, with both Marsh and Pant contributing at a staggering 300+ strike rates.
