Choose cricket over studies – Yash revealed in the video that, he was given a direct option by his father on what he intended to do after 10th. Yash was determined to play cricket as choose his passion over studies and never looked back at what he is today. The youngster also spoke on how his father helped him while he was lazy and found it tough to take early morning sessions due to his inability to wake up early in the morning.

Optimistic during IPL auctions – Yash Dayal was optimistic during the Indian Premier League auctions as he thought he might go unsold. Brought into auction pot on Day 2, his two close friends went unsold and thought similar might happen with him as well, but he was handpicked by the Gujarat Titans as the amount of bid inflated to a staggering Rs. 3.2 crore.
