“Suresh Raina entered my life like a god because people started to recognise me when I was selected for Ranji Trophy,” he told SRH in a video post.
“I told him that I was a bowler and then he gave me a chance to bowl in the nets. He saw my performance and told me that ‘I liked your bowling and I will ensure you get chances in the future,’” Tyagi added.
- The youngster rose to fame after U19 World Cup heroics in 2020 that landed him a place at RR for Rs 20 lakh. He was even named in the India squad for the Australia Test series.
- Last year, Karthik Tyagi defended 4 runs in the final over against Punjab Kings with 8 wickets to spare.

- The youngster regularly cloaks 140-145 kmph and once hit Australia A batter on the head with his raw pace.

Earlier, SRH bowling coach Dale Steyn had referred Kartik Tyagi as a Ferrari. “Just gradual. You’re a Ferrari, you take off in the first gear, not the sixth gear. Slowly but surely, I want you to get to the sixth gear,” he told Kartik during a conversation at nets.
