Yuzvendra Chahal – The Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal’s release from Royal Challengers Bangalore raised a few eyebrows as he has been one of the mainstays for RCB, especially because of his heroics at M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
However, Chahal’s 7-year long stint with RCB came to an end on Tuesday as RCB retained Virat Kohli, Glenn Maxwell, and M Siraj.
Chahal has bagged 139 wickets from 114 matches in the IPL at an impressive economy of 7.59.

Rashid Khan – The Afghan spinner Rashid Khan’s release from Sunrisers Hyderabad too came as a shocker for many as there is no doubt the leg spinner will start a bidding war in the mega auctions. Rashid Khan is unarguably one of the best spinners in the shortest format and has picked up 400 wickets in T20 cricket.
Rashid Khan made his IPL debut with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2017 and was signed for Rs 4 crore. He has picked up 93 wickets in 76 matches for SRH in the tournament. He was retained by The Orange Army franchise for Rs 9 crore earlier in 2018 and decided to part ways in hope of getting a better price.

Wanindu Hasaranga – Sri Lanka’s star leg spinner too is expected to attract a hefty sum when he will go under the hammer at the mega auction. He was impressive in the recently concluded T20 World Cup 2021 and finished as the leading wicket-taker in the tournament with 16 wickets in just 8 innings.
Apart from his leg-spin, Hasaranga is handy with the bat in the lower batting order. He was impressive in the T20I series against India picking eight wickets and also chipped in with the bat.
Wanindu Hasaranga was signed by Royal Challengers Bangalore for the second leg of the IPL 2021 in UAE. Although he didn’t take any wicket in his 2 innings appearances for RCB, the Lankan leg spinner is expected to be on the target list of many franchises.
