IPL 2021: From Jasprit Bumrah to Virat Kohli, 5 bright spots for India ahead of T20 World Cup

Virat Kohli: India skipper Virat Kohli is in tremendous form in IPL Phase 2. He struck consecutive fifties against CSK and MI. The highest-run getter in T20Is, Virat Kohli will look to make it count in T20 World Cup. He will leave no stones unturned to help India win the tournament in his leadership and end India’s 14 jinx of winning T20 WC. As it will also be the last T20 tournament under his captaincy, Virat Kohli is aiming to get back in form.

Jasprit Bumrah: MI pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been phenomenal in the UAE leg of IPL. He has already taken 10 wickets in the last 4 matches. While Bumrah’s form with the red ball was under scrutiny during the WTC Final, he blew his critics out of the park with a fantastic Test series against England. He has carried on his form in the IPL Phase 2 and has sent warnings to the batters ahead of the T20 World Cup.
