IPL 2021 teams- CSK, RCB, SRH, MI, RR, KKR, DC & PKBS Phase 2 Schedule: Dates, timings, venues all you need to know: After a wait of more than four months, the cricket action for the second phase of IPL 2021 is all set to resume in UAE from September 19. The opening contest will see the clash of defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Dubai. The playoffs for the tournament will commence on October 10 and the final will happen on October 15 in Dubai.

With the big cricket event ICC T20 World Cup scheduled to begin from October 17, the remaining 31 matches of IPL have to be wrapped up within the duration of 27 days. In the second leg of the tournament, Dubai will host maximum matches, followed by Sharjah and the least will be played in Abu Dhabi.

Dubai- 13 Matches

Sharjah- 10 Matches

Abu Dhabi- 8 Matches

After the mouthwatering contest between MI and CSK in Dubai, the cricket action will move to Abu Dhabi for the contest between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore on September 20.

As for the playoffs, the first Qualifier will be played on October 10th in Dubai, while the Eliminator and the Qualifier 2 will be played at Sharjah on October 11 and 13 respectively. The final is scheduled to take place in Dubai on October 15th.
