IND vs ENG 1st Test: Fans take a dig at Bazball as England go 20 overs without a boundary

Ashwin-Jadeja-Axar — India's spin trio — silenced England's famous Bazball approach, choking them in India vs England 1st Test in Hyderabad.

England Cricket Team made a statement with Brendon McCullum taking the coaching role. Attack, attack and attack: the mantra worked wonders in Pakistan as England went on to pile up runs. But Ben Stokes & Co were set for the ultimate test in India. And what did they get in India vs England 1st Test? Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja & Axar Patel put a spin choke on England. Forget Bazball, England had a run rate of just 1.89 in second session and it took them 27.2 overs to score a boundary.

In short, Bazball has failed its ultimate test, at least, so far in India. Ben Duckett did try his hands to do that. However, barring his 39-ball 35, there was no Bazballing or attacking intent from England Cricket Team. Instead, the likes of Olli Pope looked nervous and others failed to withstand the brilliance of India’s spin trio in the India vs England 1st Test in Hyderabad.
