If Kohli hits a century in the first Test at Nottingham then it will be his 42nd international ton as a captain. Kohli and Ponting are sharing the top spot with 41 centuries to their name.

Virat and his love affair with the international century is well known to everyone. The Indian talisman has scored 70 centuries in international cricket—27 in Test cricket and 43 in One Day Internationals (ODIs). At the age of 32, he is one of the greatest batsmen in the entire world. However, he has failed to score a ton in international cricket since November 2019. Yes, that’s right. Virat Kohli has not scored a century in the last two years.
