India at T20 WC – Hardik Pandya birthday celebrations: India cricketers have been busy preparing for the T20 World Cup in Australia. Ever since they landed in Australia, they have been involved in nets practice at Perth. However, the team has got a day-off from practice as Virat Kohli posted a photo alongside Deepak Hooda, Harshal Patel and Axar Patel on Monday. A cake cutting celebration took place during the afternoon. A special dinner has also been planned at the Team hotel. With families of players having not travelled yet, all the members of the Indian team are going to be present to make his birthday even more special.

With Pandya not being with his family this time around, the Indian all-rounder posted a video of him and his son, stating that he is missing him. He captioned it saying ‘missing my boy a little bit more on my birthday’.
The Indian team reached Australia last week, and has been involved in some strict routine at Perth. They have been sweating it out in the middle and adjusting to the conditions in Australia and be ready for the World Cup.
In fact, India came up with a fine show against Western Australia and beat them by 13 runs in the first practice match on Sunday. The stars of the day were Suryakumar Yadav, who struck a fine half-century while Arshdeep Singh also delivered with three scalps. Yuzvendra Chahal and Bhuvneshwar Kumar also took two wickets each.

The likes of KL Rahul and Virat Kohli did not feature in the practice game. The duo were involved in some batting practice after the match.
The India team will once again be seen practicing in Perth on Tuesday. All the players will go through the grind and prepare for their next practice game against Western Australia. The match is scheduled for October 13.
After which, the team will head to Brisbane and play two more matches against Australia and New Zealand on October 17 and 19 respectively. These two matches are important for Rohit and co as it will be their final phase of match preparations before the India vs Pakistan at the MCG on October 23.
