IND vs SL Super 4 Asia Cup match will be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The pitch here is expected to be on a slower side.

After thrashing Pakistan, India will next play against Sri Lanka in the ongoing Asia Cup Super 4 fixture today in Colombo. Apart from India, Sri Lanka are the only team to stay unbeaten in the Continental Cup. One of the team’s winning streaks will end today. Both India and Sri Lanka will play their second Super 4 game. Dasun Shanaka & Co beat Bangladesh in their first Super 4 encounter.

Sri Lanka are on a 12-match winning streak and have looked solid with bat and ball in the ongoing Continental Cup. Despite injuries to a few of their players like Wanindu Hasaranga and Chameera Karunaratne, Sri Lanka’s young bowlers, especially Mathateesha Pathirana and Maheesh Theekshana have bowled well. The CSK duos will now be hoping to continue with the same momentum against India.

IND vs SL match will be played in Colombo itself, and the pitch is expected to be the same as was used against IND vs PAK clash.

The R Premadasa pitch in Colombo is expected to aid spinners. The pitch is expected to remain slow. As Kuldeep Yadav proved in the IND vs PAK clash, the spinners will get a lot of purchase. Batting second would prove to be tricky on the Colombo surface. So teams winning the toss will mostly bat first.
