India will take on Bangladesh in their last Super 4 match on Friday (September 15). Rohit Sharma & Co have already qualified for the final on account of their wins against Pakistan and Sri Lanka. India are also the only team to remain unbeaten in the Continental Cup. The Men in Blue also start as firm favorites against Bangladesh.
In their two wins against Pakistan and Sri Lanka, different players have risen to the occasion. However, the biggest positive has been the stellar comeback of KL Rahul. The right-hand batter scored a superb century against PAK and backed it up by scoring another gritty 39 against SL. Jasprit Bumrah has also made a good comeback after a long injury layoff. Barring Shreyas Iyer’s fitness, India have managed to tick the majority of boxes.

The batting slightly flattered to deceive against the Lankans. Dilnuth Wellalage took five wickets and exposed India’s problems against left-arm spinners. Virat Kohli has been the most sufferer to left-arm spinners, getting out nine times in recent times. With the match set to be played at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, India will need to tackle Bangladesh spinners tactfully.
On the other hand, nothing has gone right for Bangladesh. Injuries to main players have also not helped their cause. Batting has struggled a bit, with the likes of Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das, and Shakib not contributing much.
