It looks like Pakistan batter Imad Wasim’s spot in the side’s playing XI for IND vs PAK clash is confirmed. The all-rounder was doubtful for the epic clash owing to injury concerns. However, Pakistan head coach Gary Kirsten confirmed at the pre-match press conference that Imad had passed a fitness test and that he will play against India.

Earlier in the day, BBN Sports reports claimed that Wasim could be given injections and pain killers in an attempt to make him fit for IND vs PAK clash at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York on June 9. It further claimed that Mehran Mumtaz, who has cleared the fitness test at the NCA in Lahore, has been kept on standby.
