Ignored twice, Yuzvendra Chahal opens up on getting selected in India’s T20 WC 2024 squad

Yuzvendra Chahal has finally opened up following his selection in the Indian team for the T20 World Cup 2024

Star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal expressed his delight at being named in the squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. Speaking to broadcasters ahead of the IPL match between Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Chahal called the selection his ‘biggest’ achievement.

Chahal’s inclusion came after a period of uncertainty. Despite consistent performances, he was overlooked for the T20 World Cup in 2021 and didn’t get playing time during the 2022 edition despite being part of the squad.
