The Full Anthem will release on 2nd May.

Sean Paul, a musical force for over two decades, expressed his honor in creating the soundtrack for this prestigious event. “Cricket has always been a major part of our culture, so I’m honoured to record the official anthem for the T20 World Cup,” he shared.
He promises a track that captures the essence of Caribbean rhythms while resonating with international audiences. “Expect a nice touch of the Caribbean, with some dance, to an international vibe and of course Soca,” he explained. “It will be a real anthem for people to sing out and feel the spirit of unity.”
Kes: Bringing World Together Through Music
Kes Dieffenthaller, the frontman of the popular Trinidadian band “Kes the Band,” echoed Paul’s sentiments. “Our mission has always been about bringing worlds together, so blending cricket (dear to us in the Caribbean) with music is a powerful combination,” he stated. He expressed his excitement about collaborating with Sean Paul and the entire team to create this “worldwide anthem” that will fill stadiums across the West Indies and USA with festive energy.

The ICC’s General Manager of Marketing and Communications, Claire Furlong, highlighted the significance of this collaboration. “We are delighted to have Sean Paul and Kes, two globally recognized artists, produce our tournament anthem,” she said. She elaborated that the song will “set the tone for the biggest cricket carnival spectacle ever.”
Furlong further revealed that the anthem will capture the essence of the Caribbean while remaining universally appealing to cricket fans worldwide, aligning with the event’s theme, “Out of this World.”
