GIANT Glenn Maxwell: International Cricket Council (ICC) has launched a promo of the upcoming T20 World Cup that features a giant figure of Glenn Maxwell walking down the Australian streets. Reigning champions Australia are the hosts of the competition, which will be played between 16th October and 13th November. To promote the event, ICC has partnered with creative agency Cummins & Partners to launch a promotional campaign called ‘This is Big Time’, which will figure CGI-generated giant figures of three renowned cricketing stars – Kane Williamson, Glenn Maxwell and Rishabh Pant.

Speaking about the campaign, the Men’s T20 World Cup 2022 Local Organising Committee’s CEO Michelle Enright had previously stated “There’s nothing bigger in cricket than a World Cup and the T20 format is such a fun, energetic, vibrant celebration of cricket and culture – it really is the big time and that’s exactly what this campaign is all about.”

While the videos featuring Williamson were released earlier this month, the new promo features Australia’s intimidating all-rounder, Glenn Maxwell. The caption of the video reads “Have you ever seen Glenn Maxwell this 𝘽𝙄𝙂? 👀 The biggest players and teams are coming to Australia for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Australia 🏆#T20WorldCup”
