Bollywood icon and KKR owner Shah Rukh Khan recently spoke about the shocking car accident that kept Indian cricket star Rishabh Pant out of action for more than 15 months. The crash, which happened in December 2022, left Pant with multiple injuries, requiring immediate medical attention and a lengthy recovery process.

Shah Rukh Khan described the moment he heard about the accident, saying it was “horrifying.” He added, “We didn’t know what had happened. You start to imagine the worst, especially with someone you care about. To me, these boys are like my own sons. I hoped he wasn’t hurt too badly because an injury can be devastating, especially for an athlete.”
The actor shared his relief at seeing Pant back in action after a long road to recovery. He said, “I met him at a recent game, and I just wanted to give him a hug and make sure he was okay. I was so happy to see him playing again, and I hope he stays healthy and keeps doing well.”
