Wasim Akram dissects Steve Smith’s dismissal

“On a pitch like this as a bowler, I don’t have to do too much. Though it is easier said than done, I just have to hit the right areas. The ball is having this uneven bounce. If you see Steve Smith’s dismissal, in the previous delivery of his dismissal, the ball popped up. And then the ball went away from the same line and length and that did the trick,” Wasim Akram went on to explain on Star Sports during the Lunch break of Day 4.

“It is very difficult as a batter to bat on this pitch because you don’t know the consistency of the bounce,” he concluded.

Wasim Akram went on to explain Steve Smith’s dismissal. He went on to explain how the uneven bounce will be assisting the Indian pacers. He further claimed that Indians don’t need to do anything else. They just need to hit the right areas and the pitch would do the things.
