Sunrisers Hyderabad made history on April 15, 2024, in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 as they posted the highest total in franchise cricket. In a match against Royal Challengers Bangalore, SRH broke their own record for the highest IPL total and posted 287/3 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
SRH batters were in a different mood in the match as they demolished many IPL records. Travis Head played the knock of his lifetime, scoring the fourth fastest hundred in IPL history with his maiden century. Head scored 102 off just 41 balls. Following in the footsteps of Head, Klaasen scored 67 off 31 balls. With only three wickets lost, SRH put up a total of 287, marking the biggest total in T20 leagues.
