The opening duo of Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Perera are expected to start the proceedings for Sri Lanka. Senior batter, Kusal Mendis will play at Number 3 spot. In the middle-order, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Charith Asalanka, and Dhananjaya de Silva are expected to have the responsibility.

Skipper Wanindu Hasaranga alongside former captain Dasun Shanaka will have the responsibility of finishing the innings for Sri Lanka. In the bowling department, Sri Lanka are expected to field two pacers including the likes of Dushmantha Chameera and Dilshan Madhushanka. Maheesh Theekshana will play as the specialist spinner with Hasaranga, De Silva and Asalanka also expected to over their arms.
