SRH have won five consecutive games, including a massive 9-wicket win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Sunrisers started their IPL 2022 campaign with two straight losses to Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), but they rallied to win their next five games. If SRH manage to win this game, they will match their best winning streak in the IPL. During the IPL 2018, they won six games in a row.

SRH will play their first match at Wankhede Stadium this season, while GT won their first match here against LSG. Only one of SRH’s seven matches at the Wankhede have ended in a win. In 2018, they only managed to beat MI.
Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Aiden Markram, and Nicholas Pooran have all looked solid with the bat this season. Kane Williamson’s poor form and inability to accelerate are SRH’s only batting worries. SRH do have a strong bowling squad, with all of their bowlers performing well.
SRH will need to win at least three of their remaining seven games to qualify for the playoffs.
