Advantage for MI, CSK?

The Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have a sister franchise in SA20, although both of those teams are yet to taste success in South Africa. However, MI Cape Town have been strong and two MICT players are also with the MI franchise in the IPL 2025. Ryan Rickelton, who has played as an opener and as a top-order batter, has been on song. The southpaw has racked up 259 runs at an average of 51.80 and at a superb SR of 177.40.

Meanwhile, Devon Conway and Matheesha Pathirana are also with the CSK-owned franchise. Conway, despite having a poor SR (110), is among the top 10 run-getters of the tournament. As for Pathirana, he has played only one game in the tournament so far. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants’ (LSG) David Miller and Aiden Markram are captain for their respective teams in SA20 and have done quite well too.
