Jos Buttler was in a sublime form as ever as he guided Rajasthan Royals to a record victory against KKR. Sanju Samson and co beat the Knight Riders by two wickets to clinch a nail-biting victory. Buttler smashed his second century of IPL 2024, as he stayed unbeaten till the end to see his side across the line.
Buttler’s run-chase has overshadowed the ability of the likes of Virat Kohli and Andre Russell. The mighty MS Dhoni proved his worth with a 20-run knock off just 4 deliveries in the game against MI. However, Buttler’s innings overshadows Thala’s innings as he helps RR romp to victory.

Buttler did not start off his innings on an aggressive note. Instead, he waited and waited till the right time emerged. He had only managed to score 40 runs off 30 deliveries while batsmen opposite to him walked back and forth to the pavilion from the center.
However, Butler switched gears as RR were nearing the target that once looked like impossible. In the next 30 deliveries, he went on to score 57 runs, ultimately guiding the team to victory. He stayed unbeaten on 109 runs, having smashed 6 sixes and 9 fours.
