SRH vs RCB 2016 final

In the T20 World Cup finals, both SRH and RCB, yet to win the trophy, faced heightened motivation. SRH opted to bat first; David Warner’s 63 off 38 set a strong foundation at 147/4 in 16 overs. Ben Cutting’s rapid 39 off 15 propelled them to 208. RCB, with a formidable top 5, seemed poised in the chase at 114/0 in 10.2 overs. However, losing key wickets led to a collapse, sealing an 8-run victory for SRH.

RR vs RCB in 2018

The RR vs RCB match in 2018 was a knockout game as the winning team would advance to the playoffs. RCB restricted RR to a decent total of 164/5. Despite having star batters like Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers, Bengaluru collapsed and was bundled out for 134.

RCB were in great form in 2021, looking poised to win a title. However, they did not make it to the semi-finals after losing to KKR in the eliminator.

RCB vs Deccan Chargers IPL 2009 Final

Royal Challengers Bangalore could have won their maiden title in the second season itself, but they choked in the final of the IPL 2009 against Deccan Chargers. Despite Deccan Chargers not setting a big total of 143/6, RCB had a great chance to win the title. However, they failed to clinch the victory as they suffered a collapse, and the team was restricted to 137/9.

RCB vs CSK in IPL 2011 

In 2011, Chris Gayle’s stellar performance, with over 600 runs, led his team to the top of the table, but they faced disappointment twice against CSK in the knockout stage. Despite Gayle’s two wickets in the final, CSK’s top order, notably Murali Vijay’s 95, propelled them to 205. Gayle’s failure to replicate his form, dismissed for a duck by Ashwin after scoring 89 in the Qualifier, led to RCB’s first IPL final defeat.
