Ex-India opener warns KKR of potential weakness involving Mitchell Starc in IPL 2024

Former India opener Aakash Chopra fires a warning to KKR about IPL's highest buy Mitchell Starc ahead of IPL 2024

Former India opener Aakash Chopra fires a warning to KKR over pacer Mitchell Starc ahead of IPL 2024. Chopra flags that there might be over-dependence on the Australian star in terms of pace bowling. Starc returns to the IPL after a long back, making his way into IPL 2024 as the richest buy in the league’s history.

‘KKR may be over dependent on Starc’

In a latest video on his YouTube channel, Chopra points out that KKR’s Indian pace bowling unit is a little inexperienced. He feels that this would in turn put more pressure on Starc, thus the side over depending on him.

There might be over dependence on Starc. Harshit Rana is a good bowler but he isn’t a finished product yet. Andre Russel’s bowling is also so so. The fact that KKR probably be over depending on Starc for pace bowling is something that bothers me a little,” Chopra explains.
