BCCI fines Riyan Parag
The BCCI has fined Riyan Parag 25% of his match fee for a Level 1 offence under Article 2.1 of the IPL Code of Conduct and bringing the ‘game into disrepute’ after he was caught smoking an e-cigarette inside the dressing room. Parag was served the official notice on the morning of April 30 and can appeal against the verdict.

Rishabh Pant out, Sanju Samson in ODIs?
Rishabh Pant could lose his spot in India’s ODI team. The wicketkeeper, who missed the New Zealand series with injury and hasn’t played a 50-over match for India since August 2024, could be dropped for Sanju Samson in the upcoming Afghanistan ODIs at home in June.

Australians to leave IPL early?
The PCB is planning to host Australia for a 3-match ODI series from May 31 to June 4 in Lahore. Although the series hasn’t been officially announced, it’ll clash with IPL 2026, which is scheduled to end on May 31. Currently, 14 Australians are in India, and if any of them leave early for the Pakistan series, the IPL franchises won’t be pleased.

Rabada wins Kohli battle
