Despite fifties from Yashasvi Jaiswal and Nitish Rana in the 189-run chase, RR failed against high-quality death bowling by Mitchell Starc. Meanwhile, Sanju Samson got hurt and didn’t play his entire innings. In other news, the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) received a massive news as Mayank Yadav joined the team. LSG fans have a reason to cheer as Mayank Yadav, their pace sensation, is set to undergo fitness tests after being out of action for six months due to injuries. Sanju Samson is injured

Sanju Samson got injured while batting for RR against Delhi, retiring hurt after a painful moment in the 6th over. He seemed to hurt his ribs or abdomen while trying to cut a delivery. After a brief break, Samson tried to continue batting but couldn’t and walked off. This is a worrying development for RR, who need 6 wins in 8 games to qualify for the playoffs. Samson had been finding his form recently after a slow start to the season and was out of action earlier due to a fractured finger.
