The second season of the Women’s Premier League is set for a stellar start with a grand opening in Bengaluru’s M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Bollywood actors Kartik Aaryan and Varun Dhawan are all set to light the stage up during the WPL 2024 Opening Ceremony, ahead of which they shared about their favourite teams in the tournament.
The stars looked upbeat as they rehearsed for the opening performance. Speaking ahead of the event, they revealed how they were there to cheer the girls and their favourite teams.
” We are delighted to perform here tonight. We are so excited for WPL. We are here to cheer for them, we are the cheerleaders! ” said Kartik Aaryan,

He later revealed Gujarat Titans as his favourite team while Varun Dhawan chose UP Warriorz. Kartik even revealed Shahid Kapoor’s favourite team Mumbai Indians.
Who will perform at the WPL 2024 Opening Ceremony?
A magnificent opening ceremony involving an array of Bollywood stars will occur before the first match begins. Shahrukh Khan headlines the guest list, and his presence is sure to light up the evening. Tiger Shroff and Shahid Kapoor, prominent actors, will be joining him. Varun Dhawan, Kartik Aaryan, and Sidharth Malhotra are also set to perform.
