Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) faced another upset after losing a game to RR at the Ekana stadium in Lucknow. With this defeat, LSG’s chances of making it to the IPL 2024 playoffs becomes a little complicated. With five games left in the league stage, LSG will need to win most of their games in order to qualify for the playoffs.

LSG are currently placed 4th in the points table. So far, Lucknow has played nine games and won five matches. On the other hand, they have lost three games. LSG needs to win atleast three out of their next five games in order to get to 16 points. LSG must also keep a tab on their net run-rate as things can get close towards the ending phase of the tournament.
