He reached his century in just 39 balls, setting the stage for SRH’s record-breaking total of 287 runs against Faf du Plessis’ team. Head, alongside Abhishek Sharma, propelled SRH to a blazing start, accumulating 108 runs in a mere 8 overs.

Reflecting on his partnership with Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head emphasized the synergy between them, attributing their success to mutual confidence. He expressed satisfaction with his batting form and praised the aggressive approach of SRH’s batters against RCB’s bowlers.
“Abhishek (Sharma) and I complement each other very well. We feed off each other’s confidence. I’m loving batting with him,” he further added.
Accepting the player of the match award, Head acknowledged the favourable playing surface and highlighted SRH’s strategy to capitalize on the batting-friendly conditions from the outset.
“The surface played beautifully. We did get a feedback from the groundsmen. We thought we had to adapt in the opening six overs. But we had the batting order and they had the license to after the bowlers,” Travis Head said while accepting the player of the match award after the game.
