The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has pulled off a major signing, appointing legendary West Indian all-rounder Dwayne Bravo as their ‘Bowling Consultant’ for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024. This is a significant boost for the Afghan team, as they look to make a strong impression in the Caribbean and USA.
Bravo, a household name in world cricket, is a proven winner. He has been a key member of the West Indies’ two T20 World Cup victories in 2012 and 2016. His experience of playing in high-pressure situations and his vast cricketing knowledge will be invaluable to the young Afghan bowling attack.

Bravo’s T20 experience is a major boost for Afghanistan. Having spent his career bowling on pitches with similar pace and bounce, Bravo can guide the Afghan bowlers, especially the pacers, to exploit these conditions effectively.
