Arjun Tendulkar retires hurt in his first game in IPL 2024, fails to finish 4-over quota

Arjun Tendulkar walked off the field after bowling two deliveries in his third over in MI vs LSG, forcing Rohit Sharma to replace him on the field

Mumbai Indians pacer Arjun Tendulkar retired hurt in the mid-way of the MI vs LSG match at the Wankhede stadium. The pacer was included in the playing XI in place of Jasprit Bumrah after warming the bench so far in IPL 2024. After bowling two deliveries of his third over, Arjun walked back to the team dugout while Rohit Sharma replaced him on the field.

Arjun Tendulkar was seen struggling on the field following which the physio attended to the pacer. He then walked off the field while Naman Dhir finished his over. It is suspected that the bowler might have suffered cramps, forcing him off the field.
