Ajinkya Rahane and poor form: A love story in Ranji Trophy 2024

Rahane was bowled out by B Bhatt in the fourth delivery he faced. In the first innings, he managed to score just three runs before he fell victim to the same bowler.

In Ranji Trophy 2024, Rahane has scored 0, 0, 16, 8, 9, 1, 56*, 22, 3 & 0 so far. With just one half-century under his belt, it is all but certain that the batter will never find his way back to the national side.

Mumbai set for huge win vs Baroda

Mumbai No. 10 & No. 11 batters, Tanush Kotian and Tushar Deshpande created history of sorts on Tuesday. They became only the second first-class pair in history to score centuries during an innings.

Starting at the overnight score of 337/9, the duo of Kotian (120) and Deshpande (123) added 232 runs together for the last wicket. Meanwhile, these were maiden FC tons for both the batters.
