Aamer Jamal pulls off ‘no ball’ trick against Marnus Labuschagne

Pakistan vs Australia: Aamer Jamal made his debut against Australia in the first Test at Perth, and has been impressive since then.

If there has to be one positive for the visitors in the Pakistan vs Australia Tests, it has to be the advent of all-rounder Aamer Jamal. who has been exceptional so far in the series, having picked 13 wickets, to go with 125 runs with the bat. His batting exploits also include an-82 in the ongoing SGC Test, where Pakistan were in a spot of bother, and he drove the team to 313.

Jamal exudes confidence at the moment, and that shows with whatever he does on the field. On Thursday, before the match was interrupted due to rain, and then bad light, Jamal had a light moment with Aussie batsman Marnus Labuschagne.

The bowler ran up, all the way to the wicket, with stopping just before his delivery stride, with his arms wide open, to signal, that he did not have the ball in his hand. Of course, the batsman didn’t really enjoy it, but the crowd did.

At the end of the second day’s play, in the third Test, the match was evenly poised, as Australia were 116/2, 197 behind Pakistan’s first innings score. David Warner, who is playing his final Test, was dismissed for 34 in the first innings.
