3 SRH players who will be in demand in IPL 2025 if get released by franchise

Ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 mega auction, let's take a look at the SRH players who will be in high demand.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will find it challenging to retain only four players ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 auction, as they had one of the finest teams in the IPL 2024 season. SRH may have to let go of some of their well-performing players if the retention limit does not increase in the IPL mega auction. Let’s take a look at the players they may have to release, who will likely be in high demand for IPL 2025.

3 SRH players who will be in demand in IPL 2025

Nitish Kumar Reddy

Nitish Kumar Reddy is an all-rounder who could fetch a valuable amount in the upcoming auction. In the last IPL season, he scored 303 runs in 13 matches and also took 3 wickets. Nitish could be a great addition to any franchise as he is a pace-bowling all-rounder.

Aiden Markram

Aiden Markram is not likely to be retained by the SRH franchise. The former captain was replaced by Pat Cummins in IPL 2024, as the Australian all-rounder had a great stint in 2023. Markram played 11 matches and scored 220 runs, but did not take a single wicket. Still, Markram is a valuable player who can contribute with both bat and ball to any team.

Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma will be highly demanded player in the IPL mega auction, having been exceptional in IPL 2024 with 484 runs at a strike rate of 204.22. SRH would not want to release him, as he is their most valuable player. However, if they decide to retain Pat Cummins, Travis Head, and Heinrich Klaasen, they might have to make a tough decision. They could use their one RTM (Right to Match) card at the auction table.
