3 foreign pacers to be in huge demand for IPL 2025 mega auction

Teams will be keen to go all out for overseas fast bowlers in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction at Jeddah

Overseas players will be in huge demand in the upcoming IPL 2025 Mega Auction. With teams looking to start afresh and build their teams strongly, the demand for signing ace pacers has gone up a notch. And with the likes of star pacers available in the auction, every team will be ready to bolster their attack and spill huge cash to rope in these pacers.

Mitchell Starc

Mitchell Starc is amongst some of the biggest names who will be available in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. After becoming the highest-priced player in IPL history last season, KKR released their 24.75 crore player this season.

Starc managed to rake up 17 wickets from 14 games including a double strike in the IPL 2024 finals which saw Kolkata Knight Riders lift the crown last season. Starc being a highly coveted player and a World Cup winner will draw huge attention from all the teams in Jeddah for the IPL 2025 Auction.

Kagiso Rabada

Punjab Kings didn’t retain the Proteas speedster which sees Kagiso Rabada now being available in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. The ace pacer is already the fastest player in IPL history to scalp 100 wickets, having taken just 64 games which he achieved in 2023.

While PBKS has RTMs remaining, the rest of the teams will be keen to buy the pacer and bolster their squad. Rabada who is a huge name in International cricket will prove to be a vital asset for any team that buys him in the IPL 2025 Auction.

Anrich Nortje

The extremely fast South African pacer is another name that teams will be desperate to rope in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. The speedster is known to clock 150 km/h on a regular basis, making him a force to reckon with.

Delhi Capitals do have a chance of claiming him using the RTM, which makes it a bit difficult for the rest of the teams. On the other hand, Anrich Nortje‘s ability to take wickets on a consistent basis makes him a vital asset for any team.
