Why is Jonathan Benched?

Despite all the drama happening through social media, the reason behind benching Jonathan seems more strategic rather than personal. Recently, Jonathan himself mentioned in one of the live streams that he decided to sit out because the current lineup is performing exceptionally well.

Currently, GodLike Esports is dominating the Survival Stage, sitting comfortably at the top of the points table. Jonathan believes that as long as the team is winning and moving towards the Grand Finals in Chennai, the active lineup should remain the same.

What’s Next for GodLike?

As the window for the transfer window in BGMI is about to open on April 1st, it’s no surprise that fans are getting nervous about this. However, for now, it’s all about BGIS 2026. The team looks stronger than ever and is a favorite to qualify for the final event in the Chennai Trade Centre.

Though Jonathan is currently sidelined, his impact is still felt in the team, and fans are eagerly waiting for the day he comes back to the server and claims his throne again.
